Senior Specialist, Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Description

The Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Estimator role is responsible for the creation and overseeing of Manufacturing proposals to support the Bid and Proposal process. This position manages complex project initiatives of moderate importance to the organization with general oversight or direction and communicates within and outside of the organization to explain practices, processes, and approaches. This role requires making moderate to substantial improvements in processes, systems, or products. This position also works to achieve operational targets that have direct impact on departmental results.

• Strong understanding of proposal process and compliance requirements
• Able to create, manage, and support proposals and related processes
• Able to interpret and manipulate large amounts of data
• It is a requirement for this position that the applicant is able to obtain a US security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Robust understanding of Planning and/or Engineering BOMs
• Prior experience in Estimating, Pricing, Planning, Engineering, or Data Analysis
• Understands basic concepts of Production Orders and related labor charging
