Production OperatorJoin a fast-paced manufacturing team where you'll operate multiple machines, ensure product quality, and keep production running efficiently and safely.FilTec Inc Corporation Office - Cavetown, MD 21720Salary Range $22.90 - $24.69 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 2nd Shift Education Level High School / GED Category ProductionWhat You'll Do:Operate, monitor, and adjust multiple production machinesThread and restart equipment during material changeovers and breaksPerform quality inspections and measurements using calipers and testing equipmentComplete production, quality, and scrap documentationPackage, label, and prepare finished product for shipmentMaintain material flow by replacing spools and managing inventoryTroubleshoot minor machine issues and make process adjustments as neededKeep the work area clean, organized, and safety-focusedCommunicate effectively with team members during shift handoffsSupport production goals and assist in other areas as neededWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or manufacturing coursework is a plusPrevious manufacturing, machine operation, mechanical, or technical experience preferredBasic computer and data entry skillsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to accurately perform measurements and basic math calculationsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safetySelf-motivated with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAble to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced production environmentPositive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new processesStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teamsDependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when neededTeam player who contributes to a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement initiatives
