Automation TechnicianVolt is immediately hiring for Automation Technicians in Manchester, CT.As an Automation Technician you will:Support automation engineering services activities such as hardware and software design and developmentMaintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system componentsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceabilityUnderstanding of PLCsRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.Proper use of power tools and measuring equipmentAnalyze engineering test results, and implement changes to resolve problems.Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.Record procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.Maintain software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.Assist engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automationThis is a full-time opportunity.The ideal candidate will:2 years of related experiencePay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 - 1st Shift (7:00am-7:00pm Thursday -Saturday) AND 3rd Shift (7pm to 7am Wed to Sat)*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
