Position Details:

Retail Pharmacist- Zanesville OH

Location : Zanesville OH 43701

Duration : 13 weeks

Pay-rate : $63-$66/hour

Shift : 7:00am-8:00pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate medication dispensing, and provide quality pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will have current retail pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Verify prescriptions for appropriate dosage, potential interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations.
• Support vaccination services in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold pharmacy quality standards.

Requirements:
• ctive Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of current retail pharmacy experience.
• Vaccination certification required at the time of submission.
• Experience with the RX30 pharmacy system is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
