Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. This role is essential for providing support in the operating room and ensuring the smooth execution of elective surgical procedures.

Unit Information

• Location: Denver, CO
• Unit Type: Main OR
• Number of ORs: 23
• Staffing: 70 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 1:1

Shift Details

• Shift: 7A - 5P
• Typical Staff Composition: Day shift (1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters)
• Call Requirements: 30 minutes response time for on-call, 2nd call on some weekends, and possibility of 1st call for 1-2 shifts.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  
  
  • Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a CST.
  • NBSTA and DORA Certifications.
  • BLS Certification.
• Preferred Skills:
  
  
  • Experience in Ortho/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures.
