Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.What You Will Do:You will provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Redhat 8 & 9 Enterprise Linux environment.You will utilize virtualization and containerization technologies, including VMware vCenter, vSphere, Horizon, ESXi, KVM, Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.Collaborate with engineers, software developers, systems administrators, storage, networking, and high-performance computing teams to resolve complex infrastructure and integration challenges.Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure continuous compliance with regulatory and security frameworks such as DFARS, RMF, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.Provide critical, on-site support for mission systems in a closed DoD area, responding to both planned and emergent tasks, with occasional work outside standard hours and up to 10% travel as required.Obtain and maintain DoD 8140 / 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) within six months of hire.Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to support business needs, including adjusting to shift changesQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advance Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
