IT System Administrator GS 7/9

Job Summary As an FBI IT Professional, you will ensure the workforce has the applications and data when and where it is needed, and protect law enforcement systems. This involves applying knowledge of computer technology, cybersecurity, electronic surveillance, encryption, forensic science and more to safeguard information across the FBI and its domestic and international law enforcement partners. GS-7 Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-5 grade level. SE is defined as follows: Provided routine support regarding administrative and/or technical matters related to IT programs and/or services Performed routine system diagnostics and analyzed any potential problems or issues Provided some limited training to users regarding basic utilization of computer equipment GS-9 Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-7 grade level.
