Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Cardiac scrub experience - Strong preference for candidates with prior scrub experience Description: Registered Nurse position in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. This role responds to cardiac emergencies and serves as both scrub and circulator. It requires the ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:1. Weekends are required, with one weekend shift per month from Saturday 0600 to Monday 0600. On-call duties are also required. Candidates must have experience in various cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and other interventions. This position may require floating to other units based on skill sets. Travelers should be prepared for potential floating between different facilities. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills. References covering the past year of experience are required. The facility supports various interdisciplinary services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
