Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust machines - Performing daily and weekly cleaning according to SOPs - Monitor equipment throughout production. - Load supplies into machines either by hand or using hoists, replace molds and cutting surfaces. - Test and measure finished products and record their activities and manufacturing stages. - Acts as the back up to the other Production Operators, Sanitation Technicians, and temporary packaging personnel during absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system. - Responsible for adhering food safety, GMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices, and customer specifications. - Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action - Responsible for adhering food safety, GMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications.
Requirements for Production Operator:
- Lifting from 5lbs to 50lbs during the work shift. - Frequent handling/moving of material from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder to overhead to place onto shelving units. - Must be able to bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods during the work shift. - Must follow all safety rules and use all necessary PPE when cleaning the tanks after each batch
