Access & Reimbursement Manager, North Chicago

Biogen

Biogen seeks an Access and Reimbursement Manager for the North Chicago territory to drive patient access to multiple sclerosis therapies through strategic engagement with neurology accounts and infusion providers. The role combines reimbursement expertise, provider education, and cross-functional leadership to optimize patient outcomes and market access.

Responsibilities

Develop business plans for priority neurology accounts and deliver portfolio overviews
Build regional infusion site strategy, ensure REMS compliance, and provide billing and clinical education
Resolve patient access escalations and complex reimbursement issues across MS therapies
Analyze market trends and lead regional patient access initiatives with field teams

Requirements

5-7+ years pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
Field reimbursement, clinical education, or pharmaceutical sales/management background
Experience with complex accounts and FDA-mandated REMS programs
Strong presentation and communication abilities
Managed Care knowledge and patient privacy law compliance understanding
Valid driver's license; ability to travel 40-80% regionally
