Event OverviewU.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hosting a two-day, in-person Career Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida , on October 23–24, 2026 .

What to BringTo help make the check-in and application process as smooth as possible, please bring:
- A valid government-issued ID that matches the information used during registration.
- A mobile device to complete the onsite check-in process.
- A current digital copy of your resume .
- A digital copy of your DD-214 , if applicable.
All attendees will go through a security screening and check-in process upon arrival.
Bags, backpacks, purses, folders, and binders of any kind will not be permitted inside the event.
Please plan accordingly and bring only the required items.
EligibilityFederal hiring regulations apply to all CBP positions.
At a minimum, U.S. citizenship is required. Additional eligibility requirements vary by position and may include specific education, experience, medical, physical, security, background, or other qualifications.
