Staff Accountant / Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position Summary The role supports the daily accounting operations of the organization and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This position works closely with the accounting and finance team to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and credit card statements Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Maintain accurate and organized financial records within the accounting system Assist with payroll‑related journal entries and reconciliations Prepare financial reports and schedules, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement support Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and company policies Support internal and external audit requests by gathering required documentation Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to resolve accounting‑related issues Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, ADP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets and basic formulas Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Preferred Experience Experience within construction, telecommunications, manufacturing, or project-based environments is a plus Exposure to ERP systems and process improvement initiatives Working Conditions Office‑based or hybrid work environment, depending on business needs Additional hours may occasionally be required during month‑end close, audits, or other peak periods #J-18808-Ljbffr Accountants One
