Our client, industry-leading manufacturing and machining services provider, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be part of the skilled production department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manual Machinist

Location: Gillette, WY

Pay Range: $30.00–$40.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift: Full-time, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately.
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials to optimize machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to maintain optimal performance.

What's Needed?

• Previous manual machining or machinist experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment and follow all safety procedures.
