Position Details Trenton – Full time, 72 hours per pay period, afternoon shift, $10,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified external new hires. About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193‑bed acute‑care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university‑affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961 and became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to comprehensive medical and surgical care, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care. Scope of Work Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; and assists with general department functions. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required) Eligibility after attainment of RRT NBRC status (required) LIC-Respiratory Therapist, State of Michigan – required upon hire CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry, NBRC – required upon hire CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required upon hire Benefits Comprehensive benefits package to meet financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
