MHS provides every student with an exceptional career focused education which begins at the elementary school level. At the high school level, all students select one of ten Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program Areas, including Health Sciences,in which they attain relevant certifications and real-world work experiences in their chosen field of study.

MHS is seeking a dynamic High School Health & Clinical Sciences Teacher to provide high quality engaging, rigorous, and relevant instruction. MHSs teachers prepare and deliver lessons and assessments to differentiate instruction, while extensively utilizing data to analyze outcomes and drive achievement to ensure student success. They also collaborate to refine and adapt the curriculum to evolve with emerging needs to ensure students are well prepared for the world of work and/or further education. Additionally, CTE Instructors maintain an Advisory Board of community stakeholders to provide input on the curriculum, integrate external resources for instruction, and facilitate real-world work experiences for students.

MHS faculty are deeply committed to remediating students to perform well, which requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with a whole child approach to student development. They are required to schedule and complete additional duties to their teaching schedules. Qualifications:

  Bachelors degree in a medical or allied health field

\n
• \n

  5 or more years of demonstrated success working in a medical or allied health role

\n
• \n

  2 or more years experience providing technical education incorporating hands-on and real-world experiences into instruction, differentiating instruction so all students graduate with a high degree of readiness for success in continuing education or the world of work

\n
• \n

  Exceptional skills in building student relationships & classroom management required

\n
• \n

  Demonstrated success in a highly performing multi-disciplinary team member and collaborating within a community to facilitate work experiences

\n
• \n

  Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills

\n
• \n

  Coaching or other extracurricular experience, preferred. Candidates must be all in and eager to engage with students beyond the classroom and school day

  Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
