Position Information Job Classification Title: Business Services Coordinator II (S) Position Number: 60042465 Grade: NC09 Overview The North Carolina Child Support Program operates under the Public Law 93-647, North Carolina General Statutes 110–128‑141, and Federal Regulations. It manages the location of non‑custodial parents, establishment of paternity and support, enforcement of support orders, and collection and distribution of support payments for approximately 300,000 child support cases in North Carolina. Responsibilities Respond to inquiries, complaints, and questions from the general public, attorneys, OCSE, child support customers, and legislative and congressional staff. Research issues and provide responses in accordance with policy guidelines. Track all responses through the eCustomer Service Tracking System (eCSTS). Process requests for additions and updates to the Third Party Table. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential and five years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Automated Collection & Tracking System (ACTS) functionality. Knowledge of Child Support Services and Public Assistance Programs in North Carolina. Customer Service skills. Effective Communication skills. Analytical thinking and Resource Management.
