Position Professional Hairstylist Full-Time or Part-Time Available Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles with precision and flair Apply hair coloring techniques based on color theory to achieve desired results for clients Install and customize hair extensions to enhance length, volume, or style preferences Conduct hair threading and eyelash extension procedures to provide comprehensive beauty services Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Use salon management software such as MANGOMINT to schedule appointments, process transactions, and manage client records Offer retail products through upselling techniques to meet client needs while supporting store sales goals Qualifications Active Maryland Cosmetology License (requirement) Professional salon experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented Passion for beauty, luxury service, and continued growth Existing clientele is a plus, but not required What We Offer Beautiful luxury salon environment Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities Supportive and positive atmosphere Marketing and social media exposure Prime location inside The Mall in Columbia- MD Compensation Compensation options available based on experience and position type: Commission Performance incentives Company Description At Glamour Lounge, we believe beauty is more than a service- it's an experience!
