Copywriter | B2B Marketing Agency Full-time | HYBRID | Charlotte, NC In office Tuesday–Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday Crafted is looking for a Copywriter to join our Creative team and develop clear, compelling content for B2B brands across manufacturing, industrial, and technology sectors. This is a role for a writer who likes to understand how things work . You’ll collaborate with Creative Directors, Strategists, Art Directors, Designers, SEO leaders, and subject matter experts, including engineers, to turn complex technical information into content that is clear, relevant, and engaging. You’ll write across both short-form campaign work and long-form content , from headlines, ads, emails, and landing pages to blogs, case studies, white papers, video scripts, and websites. You’ll also use AI tools, including Crafted’s proprietary AI platform, to support research and improve the writing process. The focus is strong execution, but we don’t want someone who simply writes what’s asked. We want a writer who asks good questions, contributes ideas, and helps make the work better. This isn’t just a writing role. It’s a thinking role. The writing proves it. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of professional copywriting, content writing, or advertising copywriting experience in an agency or in-house environment. A portfolio link on resume (showcasing both long- and short-form work) is required. Experience writing for B2B, manufacturing, industrial, technical, or technology brands. Ability to simplify complex subjects into clear, compelling messaging Experience researching and writing from briefs, client materials, SME input, and independent research Experience using AI or generative AI tools as part of the writing process Strong command of tone, structure, messaging, grammar, and detail Ability to collaborate closely with creative and cross-functional teams Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience What You’ll Do Write long-form and short-form content across websites, landing pages, ads, paid and organic social, email, blogs, case studies, white papers, and video Collaborate with Creative Directors, Strategists, Designers, SEO leaders, and subject matter experts on integrated campaigns Develop headlines, messaging, and calls-to-action supporting brand awareness, lead generation, and conversion Translate technical and industrial subject matter into clear, audience-focused content Research topics using client materials, SME interviews, briefs, analytics, and independent sources Ensure content is on-brand, SEO-informed, accurate, and appropriate for the audience and channel Edit and proofread work while collaborating with QA to maintain quality and consistency Support editorial calendars, style guides, content audits, and AI-assisted writing workflows Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment Nice to have: How You’ll Grow You’ll have opportunities to expand your ownership of campaign messaging and strategic content while developing your skills across storytelling, content strategy, SEO, and AI-assisted workflows.
