Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Oklahoma City. This position involves providing specialized care within the labor and childbirth unit. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns.

Job Details:

• Location: Oklahoma City, OK
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least 2 years of labor experience in a hospital delivering 350-400 patients monthly; candidate must meet all listed certifications, education, and experience requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
• Responsibilities: Provide bedside care to laboring and postpartum patients, monitor fetal and maternal health, utilize external fetal monitoring equipment, and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
• Additional Information: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/postpartum beds. Patient ratios are approximately 1:1 or 2:1, based on patient needs. The unit requires proficiency with external fetal monitoring. Candidates must be professional and adaptable to the units dynamic environment.
