Electrician Tradesperson

Location: Morris, IL, US 60450 Requisition ID: 28724 Work Arrangement: At Office / Facility Department: Maintenance Function Overview Pembina Pipeline U.S. is a dynamic energy transportation and midstream provider. The Tradesperson, Electrician will be based at the Natural Gas Liquids Extraction and Fractionation Facility in Morris (Channahon), Illinois, reporting to the I&E Day Foreman within the Maintenance Team. The role is essential for ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of plant electrical systems and supports overall facility operations. Responsibilities Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards. Working knowledge of low, medium, and high‑voltage breakers. Extensive experience with industrial 480V systems, motor contactors, MCCs, VFDs, motors, and electrical distribution systems. Familiarity with feeder and motor protection relays. Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, rack breakers up to 13.8kV, wire single‑ and three‑phase motors, and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop sheets. Apply applicable codes, regulations, reliability practices, and OEM standards. Demonstrated experience installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining industrial controls, motors, VFDs, lighting, and heat‑trace systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using diagnostic tools to ensure system reliability and safety. Adhere to company safety policies and proactively communicate safety concerns. Create and manage work orders; update maintenance records and drawings. Monitor electrical systems to ensure efficient and reliable performance. Contribute to and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace. Qualifications Relevant industrial/manufacturing experience as an Electrician or associate degree in electrical field. Demonstrated learning agility with ability to quickly adapt to new systems, technologies, and processes. Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Proactive, safety‑focused team player with a preventative mindset. Effective communicator, able to influence and collaborate across engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and leadership. Proven reliability with a strong record of accountability and value contribution. Ability to prioritize, manage time, and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information and measurements. Working knowledge of MS Office applications; knowledge of SAP is an asset. Commitment to personal and team safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet site requirements (including local residency and work authorization).
