Friday Services, on behalf of our client, is seeking a strategic, hands-on Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize a multi-site manufacturing footprint. Leadership Role: Lead diverse, distributed teams including Plant Engineering, Field Services, and Maintenance professionals while cultivating a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Growth-Oriented: Work closely with executive leadership to modernize facilities and enhance production efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Wide Scope: From construction contracts to process optimization to compliance, your role touches nearly every facet of operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of capital projects across multiple plants and locations. Provide engineering oversight and mentorship to internal teams and external partners. Guide and empower the Maintenance and Field Services teams across sites. Champion Operational Excellence initiatives like Lean and 5S to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and future-proofing infrastructure. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and permitting standards. Develop and track KPIs to measure productivity, equipment reliability, and performance. Maintain robust systems for preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory, and production support. What You Bring Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), or relevant Engineering field. Experience: 8+ years in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial maintenance, with increasing leadership responsibility. Strong mechanical and/or chemical process knowledge. Proven success managing capital projects, budgets, and construction contracts. Hands-on experience implementing Lean/5S principles. Strategic thinker with financial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement. A collaborative, coaching-driven leadership style.
