Seasonal Equipment OperatorLuck Stone is looking for a Seasonal Equipment Operator for the Richmond area who's skilled behind the controls, safety-focused, and ready to play a key role in our aggregate extraction process. Our equipment operators are the backbone of our operation. They run multiple pieces of specialized machinery at a high level and keep everything moving safely and efficiently. At Luck Stone, the work you do directly powers what we build and who we serve.This position will alternate between our Rockville, Boscobel and Powhatan plantsJob ResponsibilitiesOperate multiple pieces of specialized equipment safely and at a high level of performance throughout each shiftEnsure all equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with company health and safety regulationsPerform routine cleaning, lubrication, and safety checks to keep equipment in top conditionProperly position equipment before operation, loading, and unloadingPromptly report any equipment faults or concerns to the Plant Manager or ForemanKeep work sites clean, organized, and safe at the end of each shiftPerform other construction-related duties as neededParticipate in meetings and training as directedWhat You BringExperience: 2–3+ years of safe equipment operationEducation: High School Diploma or GEDComfort Level: Comfortable working in dusty conditions, all types of weather, and around quarry high walls, pits, and elevated positions for extended periodsScheduleFriday-Monday: 6AM - 4PM, will start on regular Monday-Friday schedule to startPay & BenefitsBenefits start on Day 1 of employment and include:Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disabilityPaid time off: personal, vacation, holidays, and 5 well-being daysMatching 401(k) and retirement pensionEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
