- Full Time Schedules
- Some weekends may be required
- 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
- Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
- Nights (12 hour shift)
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
- Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Graduation from an accredited educational institution
- A degree from an accredited school of Nursing
- An active, current LPN license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing
- 1+ years' full-time LPN experience in a correctional setting
- BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent
