Senior Software Engineer (Java)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. Senior Software Engineer – Huntsville, AL Responsibilities Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology. Utilize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Write complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Develop ETL mappings to extract data from source data systems, transform based on business requirements, and load into target systems. Conduct performance tuning of mappings to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. Create BI reports using BI software and perform unit testing of reports. Work on multiple phases of the development life cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment) of BI dashboards and reports. Develop required documentation to support the development life cycle. Requirements Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; may require a Counterintelligence Polygraph. At least eight (8+) years of software development experience. Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Robust decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
