Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address the holistic and age-specific needs of patients
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions consistent with the plan of care and established standards of practice
• Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
• Contribute to department performance through precepting of novice employees and participation in evidence-based practice initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina
• Experience conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Strong customer relations and communication skills in alignment with service excellence standards
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to established standards of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Experience precepting or mentoring new clinical staff
