ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia. Job Details Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks (36 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts) Employment Type: Travel RN Position Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Responsibilities Work 12‑hour day/night rotation shifts Every other weekend requirement Holiday requirement: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) including day before, day of, and day after, plus as needed Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 in CVICU, 1:3 in step‑down units Primary assignment between CICU and CVICU with first float to other ICUs including step‑down, progressive care, IMC, and tele units Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips Manage and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips Care for post‑op CABG, heart and lung transplant, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure management, cardiac arrhythmia, lysis, post IR/PCI procedures, and TEVAR patients Use Epic EMR system Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, navy blue or white jackets 2‑shift floor orientation provided No on‑call requirements Qualifications 2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience Recent competency with VV/VA ECMO, IABP, TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, and PA Catheter Guided Therapy Required certifications: VA RN License/Compact License, BLS, ACLS Location Falls Church, VA Benefits Referral bonus Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC
