Clinic Associate - Bellevue

Overview Clinic Associate at ZoomCare. The Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering the Perfect Visit experience in one or more service lines: Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry. Responsibilities can include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, processing labs, and maintaining inventory. ZoomCare offers same-day, no-wait visits in urgent care, primary care, and specialty care and is expanding from the Pacific Northwest to new markets. Training includes 3-4 weeks with the first week at the Bellevue location (partially remote) and travel to multiple clinics for the remaining weeks. Depending on the position, additional mandatory training outside regular hours may be required. Responsibilities Check patients in and out for appointments. Schedule new appointments as needed. Process patient payments. Educate patients on how to navigate their ZoomCare medical record. Maintain patient demographic and insurance information. Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards. Process collected specimens and document results. Maintain supply inventory; order, receive, and store supplies. Work with and maintain some basic medical equipment. Provide emergency care to patients when necessary. Support medical providers as needed. Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills. Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications. Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire. Ability to complete ZoomCare's phlebotomy training program within six months of hire. Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire. Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B, MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP. Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant - registered license within 1 month of hire. Preferred: Current licensure/certification as a Certified Medical Assistant or National Certified Medical Assistant Certification, or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered. Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending. Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time. Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs. Patient volume may require more than scheduled hours per week or work outside regular business hours. Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision. Exposure to sensitive and confidential information. Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator when required; must be clean shaven for respirator seal.
