Position Details: Title: Journeyman Controls Electrician Location: Grand Rapids, MI Status: Full-Time Travel: Local travel within the Grand Rapids area Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of experience in electrical or controls installation (Journeyman License preferred) Proficient in conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel wiring Understanding of HVAC and building automation system installations Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems and electrical circuits Knowledge of BAS integration protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or similar Key Responsibilities: Install and terminate control wiring for HVAC and BAS equipment Assemble, wire, and label control panels based on project specifications Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues on job sites Perform conduit runs, wiring pulls, and installations aligned with NEC standards Collaborate with technicians and engineers during system installs and retrofits Assist with startup and support commissioning tasks for assigned projects Company Overview: Founded: 2013 Employees: 50+ Clients: Healthcare, Commercial Offices, Education, Industrial Facilities Specialties: Building Automation, Electrical Services, Security Systems, Lighting Controls, Technology Design Compensation & Benefits: Pay: $22.00–$35.00/hr (Based on Experience) Bonus: Discretionary Company Vehicle: Provided (based on license or qualifying experience) 401(k): With Company Match Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, HSA, Disability Insurance PTO: 2 Weeks Vacation + Paid Holidays Additional Tools: Cell Phone and Laptop Provided If you're an experienced electrician with BAS exposure—or an emerging technician with 3+ years aiming to grow—this role offers a strong pathway within a respected, technology-forward integration firm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
