TidalHealth Peninsula Regional is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for ongoing locum tenens inpatient coverage due to an unexpected vacancy. This is a Monday Friday, daytime inpatient role with no outpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights

Start: ASAP (targeting March start with credentialing/ licensing)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Coverage Type: Inpatient Neurology only
Volume: patients per day
Department Size: 29-bed unit
EMR: Epic
Stroke Certified Hospital: Yes
Trauma Level: III
Multiple Physicians Accepted: Yes

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient neurology consultations and rounding
Stroke and general neurology care
Supervision of 1 APP (PA/NP)
No admissions required
No outpatient clinic duties

Requirements

Board Certified Neurology (required)
Active Maryland license OR IMLC eligibility
BLS & ACLS required- we will help with obtaining life support certification if needed!
Clean background preferred

Credentialing & Logistics

Estimated credentialing: 60 days
Nearest Airports: SBY, BWI, DCA
Lodging Recommendation: Hampton Inn Salisbury
