Service Technician / MechanicCTOS is a leading provider of utility trucks, cranes, bucket trucks, heavy equipment, rentals, sales, service, parts, and upfitting solutions across North America.Hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment.What you'll work on:PMs, diagnostics, repair & inspectionsTruck-mounted utility equipment: boom & bucket trucks, diggers, dump, service, forestry & aerial cranesDiesel engines, chassis, hydraulics, electrical & controlsSchedule:Monday–Friday, day shift (7:00am start)Overtime as neededWhat you need:Experience and/or training on related equipment with heavy/light-duty trucks, diesel, refuse, construction/AG, aircraft/GSEValid driver's license & mechanic toolsWhat we offer:Competitive pay based on experience + overtimePaid vacation, sick, holidays, healthcare, 401(k) matchUniforms, safety boots & glasses, tool bonus & discounts, trainingDuties and Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards within budget, on a variety of vocational/utility trucks and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Ford.Provide repair and maintenance to diesel engines a strong background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.Perform maintenance/emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems.Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environmentAttend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.Required Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalentVocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training a plusMust hold a valid driver's licenseMust have your own toolsBenefits:401(k) with Employer MatchCompetitive Health CareDental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Vacation, Sick and HolidaysSTD/ LTDPartner DiscountsInvestment in Employee DevelopmentWhy CTOS?At CTOS, you'll work on specialized utility and heavy equipment that keeps critical infrastructure operating.
