CRNA opportunity to join a supportive care team at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, in an area ideal for outdoor exploration! Offering a variety of cases and sites, Crouse includes the main hospital, 3 ASC's, excellent Anesthesia Tech support, and a Pre-Op Testing Center. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. Staff members work in a care-team model.

Case Assignments & Schedule

General, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani's, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds

Schedule: Current open shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Call is voluntary and not required. Post-call day off. Additional pay for call is offered.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures

Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent

Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients

Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed

Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse

Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
