Your opportunity: Venture Solutions, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join the team in their Ft. Worth, TX location!Your Responsibilities:Using your eye for detail to verify that final work product (statements and letters), with the written instructions to ensure that they meet production standardsExamine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workAble to explain to operators and supervisors how the product doesn't match the clients instructionsWalking around to different machines to verify the accuracy of jobsCross – Train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table)Report problems or concerns with quality results with senior management immediatelyEnsure that items that go out the door, are 100% accurateInput data into the production data baseLearn about our production process and the role that the QA hasMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsInspects materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instrumentsEnsures materials and products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damagedYour Shift: 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm You Must Have:Must be detailed orientedBasic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devicesBasic problem solving skillsBasic computer skills (open, save, print a file, enter data)Be able to work extended hours and weekends based on production scheduleStrong English communication skills, both written and verbalRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:Prior experience within the print industry/fast paced high production environmentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
