We are seeking an experienced Title Officer with a minimum of 10 years of industry expertise to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate transactions, title insurance, and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of mortgage processes, underwriting, and legal documentation related to property titles. * Prepare and review title reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Coordinate with underwriters, escrow officers, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate smooth transaction processes
* Ensure adherence to FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, TILA requirements, and other applicable legal standards
* Assist in the preparation and review of loan documentation, contracts, and escrow instructions
* Analyze credit reports and financial data relevant to property transactions
* Support loan origination and processing activities by providing clear title information and resolving discrepancies
* Maintain detailed records of all title searches, reports, and correspondence for audit purposes
* Stay updated on changes in mortgage servicing laws, banking regulations, and industry best practices *Skills** Extensive experience with FNMA guidelines and underwriting procedures
* Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing, loan processing, and credit analysis
* Proficiency in TILA regulations, contracts law, escrow procedures, and fair housing laws
* Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately; proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry
* Familiarity with loan officer functions and the overall loan origination process
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
* Effective communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments
* Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legal documents related to real estate transactions
