In this role, you’ll provide proactive incredible customer service as you assist customers in both traditional checkout and self‑checkout lanes. Work Environment The physical demands of this work are classified as light to medium. Work includes repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, occasional bending, frequent reaching, moving and lifting, frequent to constant turning to the left, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast‑paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–12 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 40 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May receive assistance with heavy items if available. May be exposed to various allergens. The work environment is indoors. Basic tools and equipment include cash register, scan gun, shopping bags and bagging fixtures, and shopping carts and baskets.
