From day one, you’ll be empowered by the greater Risk team to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently. Your day-to-day may include:Review operational, financial, and technology processes to assess business risk, internal control, and the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the processAssess the risks associated with Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls over financial reportingMaintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform servicesWork closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issuesCommunicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidenceAdhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentialityUnderstand and manage firm risk on audits and proposalsMeet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)Other duties as assignedYou have the following technical skills and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field is requiredMinimum 1 year of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national levelDesire to pursue a CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA or CISM license/certification Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 experience preferredExperience performing financial, operational, and system audits, as well as business process control reviewsAbility to execute multiple engagements and completing priorities in a rapidly growing team environmentKnowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technologyExceptional client service, communication, analytical, organizational and project management skillsCan travel as needed#LI-CL2About the organizationThe team you’re about to join is ready to help you thrive.
