Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts, variable days, typically 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of anesthesia and ensure proper patient positioning for a wide range of surgical procedures including Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, General, Trauma, Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology
• Maintain accurate and continuous charting throughout the patient's surgical experience using Meditech
• Perform sterile surgical skin preps of specific operative sites
• Initiate and maintain continuous counts of sponges and instruments throughout each case
• Safely transport, move, and position patients pre- and post-operatively
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications issued through the American Heart Association
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including but not limited to Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, Trauma, Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology
• Proficiency with Pyxis for medication administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Familiarity with endoscopy room procedures and workflows
