Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience in respiratory therapy

License: Must possess state RT license

Certifications: Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

Must-Have: Must have NBRC RRT certification

Experience with pediatrics and OB patients

Description: The Respiratory Therapist is registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care. This role involves providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures. Tasks involve delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintaining airways. Ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, and pulmonary function studies are required. The role also includes conducting cardiac and pulmonary stress tests and performing blood gas analyses. The position requires a variable day/night schedule, including two day shifts and one night shift.
