What You'll Do

As an RN – Pre-Op (Peds), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of pediatric patients before their surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing pediatric patients for surgery, including conducting pre-operative assessments and obtaining medical histories.
• Providing emotional support to young patients and their families, ensuring a positive and reassuring experience.
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
• Monitoring patients for any changes in condition and responding promptly to their needs.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and pre-operative procedures.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pre-operative or pediatric care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
