Customer Service Representative – Insurance Office
Petersburg, IL
Full-Time Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

A family-oriented insurance office is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their close-knit team. What You’ll Do

• Answer and process incoming customer calls
• Greet customers and provide professional front-line support
• Coordinate with insurance company agents and representatives
• Assist with commercial and personal insurance lines
• Help resolve customer concerns and provide excellent service
• Support office operations with administrative and client communication tasks

Training & Licensing

• Employer-paid training and testing to obtain an Insurance Producer License
• Opportunity to become licensed in Property & Casualty Insurance
• Hands-on training provided to support long-term success

Qualifications

Primary Skills Needed:

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Flexible and adaptable in changing situations

Preferred Skills:

• Customer service and conversational communication skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Personal financial awareness/understanding preferred
• Ability to remain professional under deadlines and during occasional difficult customer interactions

Compensation & Schedule

• $18.00/hour
• Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Located in Petersburg
