Shape the Workday: A Day in the Life
At 7:00 AM in Midwest City, OK, you review the day’s orders, confirm measurements, and set up your saw to cut steel to spec. Through the morning, you’ll measure twice and cut once, keeping a steady pace in a physically demanding environment. You’ll follow safety procedures, keep your workstation clean, and collaborate with a team that relies on your precision. By day’s end (3:30 PM), you’ve helped move multiple jobs forward—accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to add a Precision Steel Cut-Off Technician. This is an evaluation-to-hire role with real growth opportunities.
Quick Facts- Pay: $18/hr
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Hours: Approximately 40–45 hours per week
- Location: Midwest City, Oklahoma
- Type: Evaluation to hire with growth potential
- Operate industrial saw equipment to cut steel to exact measurements and order specifications.
- Measure and verify materials with accuracy before and after cuts.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work at a steady, productive pace in a physically demanding manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (required).
- Previous experience with saw operation and/or steel manufacturing/production (required).
- Dependability and willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
