The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices. They also assist guests with luggage, maintain vehicle activity logs, and ensure a safe and comfortable ride. Compensation & Benefits Hourly base pay: $22.65 per hour. Eligibility requires meeting company policies and length of employment. Work Schedule PM shift. Responsibilities Shuttle guests to approved locations; learn and remember pick‑up and destination points (40%). Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio, and in person in a courteous, friendly, professional manner; greet guests within 30 seconds; use guest last name; maintain composure under pressure. Operate a vehicle that seats sixteen people or more; inspect exterior and interior for safety and functionality at shift start; monitor vehicle condition and record issues. Protect guest confidentiality per HIPAA; secure client financial and identifying information; provide assistance but no lift services; operate wheelchair lifts if required. Assist patrons with entering and exiting the vehicle; clean wheelchairs after use; ensure safe operation. Maintain security of vehicle, perform cleaning and prep tasks; submit reports as needed. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED. Licensure & Certifications Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement issued by the state. Valid driver’s license at all times. Must pass a criminal background, MVR, drug screen. At least 21 years of age. Maintain current Medical Examiner’s Certificate and DOT endorsements. Complete Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park. Work Experience At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years of licensed driving experience. Experience driving manual transmission. Skills & Knowledge Read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Perform basic arithmetic with American currency. Understand 24‑hour and military time; understand time rates. Effectively present information to guests and staff.
