THE JOB:

As a Busperson for Seabreeze Cafe at Mandalay Bay, you will be responsible for maintaining the entire restaurantincluding the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage stationsaccording to our premier standards of cleanliness and stock organization. Working closely with the culinary and service staff in our high-energy, coastal-inspired venue, you will set the stage for an exceptional dining environment that supports your teammates, anticipates guest needs, and helps create lasting WOW memories for everyone who visits Mandalay Bay.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.6197 Hourly + Tips THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner for another Cafe or similar High-Volume restaurant preferred
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
