About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Reading, PA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $28 Per Hour + OT After 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, Midnight to 6 AM start
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, may have an occasional layover
- Equipment: Manual Transmission
- Handling: No touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Tanker required after 30 days of hire, Manual Transmission experience required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
