Mill Ave @ E. 14thSt Job Summary The Rad Tech position is responsible for performing high quality radiological procedures in the cardiovascular labs in accordance with governing regulations and standards. This includes using ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to provide safe and timely care as ordered by the physician. Responsibilities also include quality control and maintenance of department aprons and radiology equipment in the CCL/EP/IR labs, stocking supplies, providing surgical scrub assistance to physicians, and assisting the RN with direct patient care. Essential Functions Independently demonstrate the ability to utilize evidence‑based clinical knowledge to assist the physician with the diagnoses and treatment plan of the cardiovascular patient through the set up and operation of the diagnostic and treatment devices in the cardiovascular suite. Operate the medical radiology equipment and serve as scrub assistant to the physician in the cardiovascular suite. Collaborate with the medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the cardiovascular suite. Collaborate with the medical staff and department leadership to train and monitor the performance of all personnel working in the cardiovascular suite. Remain current with the organization’s regulatory standards and CMS regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Education Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized – Preferred Associate’s Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training such as related coursework, seminars or certifications – Required Experience 2 years experience in IR/Cath lab – Required Licenses and Certifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 60 Days – Required Radiology Tech License ARRT – Required (upon hire) Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) – AZ State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License – Required Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required Cardiac Interventional Certification (CI) through ARRT – Valid and current – Required Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – Valid and current – Required #J-18808-Ljbffr
