About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3 shifts per week) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care License: Current Arkansas Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCRN (preferred) Must-Have: Critical care experience Description: Flu vaccination is required for all travelers. Exemptions must be approved. The role requires floating to step down and medical-surgical units. The unit has 32 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. All licensed staff providing direct patient care must pass a medication and math competency test before administering medications. This exam assesses knowledge of drug actions and side effects, as well as math regarding correct dosages and IV issues. A passing grade of 90% is required, and the exam may be retaken once. Failure to pass on the second attempt may result in termination. Candidates should be upbeat and driven, as the unit is fast-paced. Dress code requires black scrubs and prohibits open-toe shoes.
