Fortinet Network Engineer

Requirements Must have: We are looking for an interest in enterprise networking and a strong desire to keep developing your skills. We value hands‑on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, or wireless access points. We expect a solid foundation in network architecture and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. We need strong communication skills and a customer‑oriented approach. We want someone who can juggle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast‑moving environment. We appreciate comfort with occasional after‑hours work, including evenings or weekends, to support operational and client needs. For more senior candidates, we are especially interested in Tier 2/3 experience with Fortinet or comparable enterprise networking expertise. We prefer experience in telecommunications, networking, or managed services environments. We look for a history of leading design efforts, mentoring teammates, or owning strategic projects. CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent practical experience is required or strongly preferred depending on level. Responsibilities: We design, configure, and deploy firewalls, switches, and wireless access points based on customer network requirements. We lead high‑level architecture for complex multi‑tenant or enterprise‑scale Fortinet environments, including SD‑WAN designs at senior level. We support or own migration projects from legacy systems to Fortinet with minimal downtime and smooth policy transitions. We collaborate closely with project managers, field technicians, and end clients to deliver seamless installations. We provide technical guidance to junior team members and help define standardized engineering practices at senior level. We follow engineering standards for network design, documentation, and project communication. We contribute a continuous‑improvement mindset to how we design, deploy, and support client environments.
