Family Medicine Faculty Position - Alma, MichiganSetting: Family Medicine Residency Program (ACGME-Accredited, 4-4-4, Unopposed)Employer: Physician-led health system Position Highlights

Full-Time Faculty Role with clinical, teaching, and administrative responsibilities
Residency Focus: Rural medicine; opportunity to shape a smaller program with greater individual impact
Hospital: Sole hospital in the community
Community: Alma is a safe, affordable college town in central Michigan

Clinical Scope

Patient Mix: Full-spectrum Family Medicine
Preventive care, chronic and acute disease management
Care from birth through adulthood

Responsibilities:
Precept residents in outpatient clinic
Hospital rounds with resident teams
Medical student teaching
Direct patient care
Participation in curriculum development and program growth
Schedule: Flexible structure to accommodate inpatient/outpatient responsibilities
Call: 1:5 - Hospital medicine team assists with night call Requirements
- MD or DO (U.S. or foreign equivalent)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- ACGME-accredited residency completion
- Eligible for Michigan medical license and controlled substance license
- Academic interest and leadership experience preferred
