Steer began as an online directory for drivers to find a local mechanic. Fast forward to today, Steer has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing suite, complete with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, declined/recommended services, and many other features. We are always innovating and we are proud to be a leader in the automotive repair industry. In August 2024 Steer acquired AutoOps - the leader in modern, intelligent, and fully integrated scheduling software for auto repair shops. AutoOps allows customers to smoothly schedule through a shop's website and Google Business Profile.

We’re looking for a Inside Sales Representative to help build and scale our outbound motion at Steer. This role is focused on uncovering lucrative new business opportunities, facilitating product demos, and guiding customers through a streamlined sales process. There is the potential for a hybrid working schedule after 3 months of tenure. Empathetic & Professional: You are approachable and professional, with a genuine desire to help business owners achieve their goals. Organized & Disciplined: You are dependable and consistent in meeting deadlines and managing your pipeline activity. Drive Outbound Growth: Conduct a high volume of calls and outreach to identify and engage decision-makers and economic buyers. Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product and its features to effectively communicate value during online product demos. Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM to ensure accurate forecasting. Qualify opportunities and collaborate closely with the broader sales team on strategy and deal progression. 1+ years of sales experience, specifically in outbound prospecting or business development. A history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and activity metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with comfort in phone-based outreach. Presence: Ability to commute to the Waltham, MA office. Industry Experience: Familiarity with the automotive industry, home services, or blue-collar sectors. Experience selling software or working in a high-growth startup environment. Tech Stack: Experience using CRM tools (like HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage opportunities.
