Introduction:
Village Capital is a well-established mortgage company committed to delivering a quick, efficient, and quality mortgage loan process to our customers and business partners. We are a nationwide mortgage lender specializing in FHA, VA, USDA Loans. Our Headquarters are located in Henderson NV. We are a lender/servicer, who works with loan originators, brokers, and correspondents to offer our customers great rates and good terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify all loan documentation and calculations to guarantee adherence to industry standards and company policies.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the file application and till closing.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Ensure you make timely and accurate responses to our loan partners and be willing to get on the phone to get issues resolved quickly.
- Perform a general evaluation of an application (financial documents, mortgage type etc.)
- Gather all missing data from the loan officer (assets, debts etc.)
- Verify information and references by contacting the right sources
- Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies
- Act as point of contact between loan officers and underwriters
- Conduct a final review of the file before closing
- Understanding of loan guidelines and underwriting procedures
- Knowledge of laws and best practices
- Proficient in Encompass LOS - We are willing to train if you have used a prior LOS software
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Well-organized and able to handle pressure
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Specific Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mortgage
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in mortgage industry software and tools.
