Department Overview

The Woodwinds Rehabilitation clinic, located in Woodbury, evaluates and treats children with a range of diagnoses from cerebral palsy, to treating children who may have difficulties with motor milestones/muscle control and coordination. They provide training to children and their parents/caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment in order to promote independence.

Position Summary

Responsible for the evaluation and provision of physical therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provide a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior. 

This system casual PT position may offer full-time hours and can lead to a core role as opportunities arise. The position provides the opportunity to work at various outpatient rehab locations based on the candidate’s interests and may include inpatient training. Employees who complete inpatient training are expected to participate in the weekend rotation once every four weeks. We are particularly seeking candidates who can reliably provide coverage for staff leaves across multiple locations.
